Service Delivery
The Service Delivery Working Group is now part of the Technology & Network Management Advisory Group.Projects include promoting the social economic benefits gained by efficient and effective road maintenance, developing effective risk transfers and being recognised as the voice of industry to promote and influence clients’ standards and policies.
Current projects include looking at connected vehicles and the implications they introduce for the infrastucture. A second area of work will address client and contractor expectations and priorities in tendering and throughout the duration of contracts. The proposed Sector Deal for Highways is a third area which the group will be working on in collaboration with other organisations in the industry.
