Skills Minister John Hayes brought together a team of experts today (6 September 2017) to plot a course to build more transport skills than ever before.
The minister invited specialists in further and higher education to join transport chiefs to explore how best to equip young people to build a successful career in transport.
HTMA are pleased to announce George Lee as their new Chief Executive. George Lee will take over at the start of November from Geoff Allister OBE, who is stepping down as HTMA Executive Director having been in the role since 2012. This new, full-time Chief Executive role is being created to build upon the strong HTMA brand and membership base, further raise the profile and influence within the sector and ensure the long-term sustainability of the association.
Looking after the road network and the environment, the biggest road project currently in construction in the UK is aiming to leave a positive footprint on the local environment once completed by the end of 2020.
